Metal ceilings are primarily used in commercial, hospitality and hospital spaces. The material of construction is either aluminium or galvanized iron (GI), which can be color coated in a variety of shades and can be plain or may have perforations. They are available in a number of profiles with tile form being the most common. However, other profiles include linear, plank, cell type, Z-shape, U-shape, and many more. These can be installed in a lay-in or clip-in system.
Metal ceilings find their use in concealing utility ducts, cables and wires in maintenance prone areas as they provide easy accessibility with quick removal and installation of panels. They are ideal for workspaces which require clean environments and services that require maintenance such as the machinery rooms, the Air Handling Units (AHU), etc. The ceilings can also be coupled with acoustic insulation material, which makes them soundproof.
The metal panels are laid on a metal grid with sections and are suspended by rods from the ceiling. This results in a robust, aesthetic and cost-effective surface.
We provide Supersil metal ceilings that are indigenously manufactured products and are of high quality, good tensile strength and excellent finish.
